Christian Action Housing Association is proud to be a local landlord providing homes and services across four North London boroughs, managing around 1600 homes. We manage mixed tenure housing stock, including independent living and the provision of supported housing accommodation and services for young people.

We are seeking a driven and self-motivated 3rd Line IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our busy IT Team based in Enfield.  Your approach should be customer focused, working to establish the underlying needs of internal and external customers.

The current priorities of your  role will include:

1. • Supporting the effective delivery of the IT Service across the organisation to our staff.
   • Leading on promoting an effective IT service that ensures that our systems and IT infrastructure is protected from external threats.
   • Bringing a flexible and dynamic approach to support the Head of IT, to ensure that our IT infrastructure is secure and up to date.
   • Provide exceptional general IT support as part of a committed and hard-working team, for a range of products including Microsoft / VMware Server installation, Windows deployment, configuration and upgrading of server/client software and related products.
   • Being accountable and sharing ownership of the team’s targets and service standards as agreed with Head of IT  .

   • Backup and Recovery Technologies (Veeam Enterprise and Veeam for Office 365 )
   • Knowledge and/or experience of enterprise network WAN and LAN disciplines –Dell/Cisco.
   • Virtual and Physical Server Build, Installation and Management
   • Active Directory (including on perm AD services such as DNS, DHCP)
   • Windows Server OS management / upgrades / migration.
   • Experience of managing firewalls, routers, switches and other network infrastructure
   • Knowledge of network principals TCP/IP, ports, VLAN’s etc.
   • Experience of managing and maintaining anti-virus servers and solutions
   • Professional vendor level certifications required:  MCSE, VCP
   • Strong communication and customer support skills
   • Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules, including weekend working
   • Able to execute and perform without supervision, possessing practical experience and applied knowledge
   • Ability to plan, organise and solve problems

 Desirable

• • Previous experience working in a 3rd Line Infrastructure role
