    Job Title: Home Moves Assistant (8 months Fixed Term Contract)

    Salary:  £24,412 – £26,761 (Grade E) Pro rata per annum
    Hours: Part time Wednesday to Friday (22.2 hours) to be worked flexibly in line with business needs

    Location: Based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich.

    Flexibility to work from a variety of places including our office at Gadbrook Park, Northwich and home (dependent on the job role and the needs of our customer, our organisation and our teams)

    The Trust is looking for a self-motivated, proactive Home Moves Assistant to join our Home Moves Team. The team manages the allocation of all our vacant properties for rent, delivering a seamless, co-ordinated approach to the letting of Trust properties.

    What Will You Do?

    We are looking for a strong team player, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude who works well under pressure. The post holder must also demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent customer service with a focus on the needs of the customer and possess good verbal and written communication skills.

    You will:

      • Support the delivery of a customer focused lettings service, ensuring our empty homes are relet quickly in line with policies and procedures.
      • Be the first point of contact for customers and partner agency enquiries relating to ending a Weaver Vale tenancy or securing a new home with us.

     

    You must also be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, with good organisational and problem-solving skills.

    Minimum Requirements For This Role

      • 3 GCSE’s (Grade C or above) Or Experience of working in a Social Housing Allocations Team.
      • Experience of working with a wide range of customers and stakeholders.
      • Demonstrate proficient use of Microsoft Office packages
      • Customer Focused
      • Creative and innovating
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

     

    You will be expected to work in the office and from home. Due to the flexible working arrangements, you will need access to a workspace at home with a suitable internet connection and access to a room where you can work.
