    What you’ll be doing

    We are looking for a Governance Administrator to support the Data Protection Officer with the coordination of the response to Subject Access Requests and any Data Breach investigations and ensure we have appropriate agreements in place with other organisations such as Data Sharing Agreements. Your line manager is the Head of Governance and Assurance/ Company Secretary.

      • Assist the Data Protection Officer with Subject Access Request requests and Data Breach/Data Protection administration.
      • Assist the Data Protection Officer with the co-ordination and record keeping of Data Sharing Agreements with third parties, Data Privacy Impact Assessment and the updating of the Privacy Notice as required.
      • To assist the Data Protection Officer with the updating of the GDPR/Data Protection training module.
      • To assist the Data Protection Officer with providing guidance to employees in following the suite of Data Protection Policies and procedures.
      • Support the Head of Governance and Assurance and the Governance and Assurance team with any tasks if and when required.

     

    What we’re looking for

      • Evidence of attainment of good literacy and numeracy, e.g., through GCSEs or equivalent or equivalent demonstrable prior learning.
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
      • Evidence of competence in administrative processes/procedures, with good attention to detail.
      • Excellent IT skills with experience of using MS office including Word and Excel.
      • Ability to work pro-actively as part of a team to achieve objectives and manage conflicting priorities.

     

    This will be a part-time post as part of a job share. It will be 14.5 hours a week, working Monday’s and Tuesdays.
