The benefits of a coaching style for managers are widely recognised: more motivated staff, more open communication, greater learning and development and, ultimately, better services.

Managers need to learn the skills of coaching, and this intensive one-day course is designed to develop those skills and give managers the tools to support themselves in their continuing development. The course is highly participative and includes opportunities to practise these new skills, as well as the opportunity to observe the facilitator and others. Tools and techniques are introduced, but the focus of the day is on practical application.
