Weaver Vale Housing Trust is the number one Housing Association to work for nationally as awarded by Best Companies. Our vision is to “Transform Neighbourhoods, Homes and Services to improve the quality of life for our customers.” The Trust invests significantly in its assets, services, and communities to provide an excellent customer service and to support customers and their communities.
Our diverse portfolio of 6,300 homes, predominantly in Cheshire and Warrington, brings with it a varied customer base with a broad range of expectations and aspirations. We are looking for individuals who aspire to making a real lasting difference, with a passion for the sector, community improvement and able to connect with our customers and neighbourhoods.

As part of our Board succession planning the Trust is looking to recruit two Board Members, with a broad experience but a focus in at least one of either:

    Housing Management

We are particularly looking for someone who brings an ability to challenge and support us to continue to improve customer service and to influence our responses to the new consumer regulations.

We want someone to support, challenge and foster continuous improvement with our property management services and strategy, as well as our Health & Safety compliance.

They will also have a strong connection with our vision and share our values of Collaboration, Customer Focus, Commitment, Enthusiasm, Respect, Fairness and Openness.

The Trust is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion and our Board plays a key role in setting and driving the culture of the organisation. We envisage that these appointments will not only strengthen the collective professional skills and experience of the Board but will also broaden our diversity of thought and lived experience.
