    We are looking for a Senior Procurement Category Manager (Operations) (1 post) to join our Procurement team.

    Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will provide specialist knowledge and expertise of the Operations category ensuring value for money is delivered through new and existing commercial and contractual arrangements resulting in reduced risk and improved overall business outcomes. Assisting our Operations colleagues (and other colleagues as required) on all aspects of procurement including sourcing options, contract specifications, forms of contract, tender packaging and pricing strategies.

    This post will support, develop and manage the procurement of operations services in line with internal and external regulation to enable the delivery of value for money. You will negotiate and lead discussions, in conjunction with others if appropriate, relating to Grounds Maintenance, Waste Management, Energy, Security, Fleet, and Specialist Sub-contractors for Onward Repairs such as Scaffolding, Drainage and Asbestos Removal.

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Category Procurement Manager, with proven experience and market knowledge of sourcing and acquisitions, vendor management and supply management within Estates / Neighbourhoods environment. To be successful, it is essential you have a proven track record of delivering high levels of support service to customers and successfully delivering on operational plans. You will need to be proactive to develop data and performance services and improve services.

This role is home based and there is no requirement to attend the office daily, but you will be required to attend neighbourhoods and/or sites as required to fulfil duties of the role.
