The Care Quality Commission (CQC)

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Many of our members will be registered with them as a provider of health and social care services (such as care / nursing homes, home care agencies, mental health services, telephone health advice, or other community services).

  • The Fundamental Standards
  • The Duty of Candour
  • The requirement to display ratings
