We are looking for Sessional Nursery Officer (2 posts) to join our Wellbeing team in Liverpool.

Working as part of the May Logan Centre Nursery team you will report to the Senior Nursery Officer and will assist in the provision of a high standard of care for children placed in the nursery in a way that meets their personal, social, emotional, communication, language and physical development needs.

You will share in the responsibility of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in the nursery. You will contribute to the planning and implementation of appropriate programmes of activity for the children as part of the nursery team. You should be familiar with and implement the National Standards and Ofsted guidelines and recommendations of good practice and conform to the policies and procedures of The May Logan Centre Nursery.

To be successful you will have previous experience of working within a childcare setting and have knowledge of keyworker systems and record keeping. The ideal candidate will have at least an NVQ level 3 in Childcare or equivalent and will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both children and parents.
