Senior Contract Management Surveyor (East Region)
Full Time (35 hours per week), Permanent
Location: Huntingdon
Salary: £36,777.00 per annum plus £3,500.00 car allowance per annum

The successful candidate should have relevant building surveying, maintenance or construction management qualification and or equivalent experienc e. You should have a strong track record in delivering effective asset planning and contract management to a large and diverse portfolio of mix tenure properties and associated budgets.

The role is based in our Huntingdon office and is to work with the Asset Services Manager and Contract Delivery Manager to provide improvement, investment, planned and maintenance works on time, to agreed standards and within budget.

You will assist the Asset Services Manager and Contract Delivery Manager to effectively procure and manage the Association’s Planned Improvement and Cyclical Maintenance Programme.

The role will lead on the preparation, administration and monitoring of individual investment projects and programmes. Prepare specifications, schedules, programmes of work and monitor the progress and quality of works on site.

You will ensure the programmes of work are delivered in compliance with the agreed Policies, Procedures and appropriate legislation. You will be responsibility for the day to day management of specific expenditure and budgets for various individual maintenance, improvement and investment projects.

You will manage the supervision and management of the contractors and consultants to ensure that works are undertaken and completed in compliance with the contract, agreed Key Performance Indicators, Financial Standing Orders and to Muir’s agreed standards.

A proven track record managing Responsive Maintenance and Planned contracts with significant knowledge and proven track record of procurement activity and optimising value for money. You should demonstrate experience of managing and co-ordinating contractors working on a variety of construction and maintenance projects and contracts from inception through to conclusion of defect rectification.
