Job Description

Please note: this post has previously been advertised as a residential/live-in position but this is no longer the case, and the successful candidate will not now be required to live onsite.

We’re looking for a Scheme Manager to join our Support & Care department. Taking responsibility for Estuary’s private retirement scheme at Pembridge Court, you will act as a link between the scheme’s residents and the Association.

This hands-on role includes ensuring the overall wellbeing of residents, overseeing the work of cleaning and maintenance staff, and managing repairs and maintenance to the scheme.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will possess previous experience of working with elderly people, and ideally some experience of supervising staff. You will demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, coupled with the vision and innovation to develop and promote services within the scheme. Demonstrating a caring, diplomatic approach, you will have the ability to be firm when necessary, be highly self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
