We are looking for a Sales Advisor (1 post) to join our team in our Greater Manchester region.
Reporting to the Sales Manager and working as part of the Growth and Regeneration Team, you will support the promotion and sale of Onward’s new outright sale, shared ownership and Rent to Buy homes delivering strong sales results and an excellent service to customers.
You will contribute to the analysis of new development opportunities, applying research and lessons learned to inform assessment of demand, competition, the type, design, specification and tenure of new homes and sale assumptions.
You will support managers, colleagues and agents to plan and budget for marketing campaigns to promote new home sales and help develop marketing packs, co-ordinate adverts, signage, digital and social media campaigns.
Responding to incoming customer enquiries regarding home ownership options you will provide information and guidance and maintain the marketing database.
You will liaise with the Help to Buy Agent and administer applications, collating supporting documents and ensuring applicants meet the HCA’s and relevant criteria. You will also use the HCA’s Sustainability Calculator and work with independent financial advisors to ensure shared ownership applicants can afford shared ownership, whilst optimising the percentage share being purchased.
Arranging and hosting property viewings you will plan and attend launch events and open days.
You will also administer property reservations, assist customers throughout the purchase process, work with solicitors, check mortgage offers, request signing of legal documents, providing home demonstrations and handovers to new customers.
You will maintain accurate records, update systems, obtain customer feedback and provide information to support performance reporting, sales forecasting and continuous improvement.
It is essential that you have experience of marketing or selling properties; ICT skills including MS Office to support maintaining databases, systems, and digital communications; Commitment to delivering excellent customer service; an understanding of shared ownership and the ability to cultivate productive relationships with colleagues and partners.
You should be GCSE qualified with English and Maths as a minimum.
