Responsive Repairs Foreperson

We are looking for a Responsive Repairs Foreperson (1 post) to join our Repairs team in Lancashire.
Reporting to the Responsive Repairs Team Leader you will support the delivery of property maintenance services in line with all group standards and key performance indicators. Ensuring high standards are consistently met together with observing all legal, statutory and regulatory requirements while undertaking repair activities with customer's homes, empty properties and for other clients as required.
In line with Repairs specification and best practice you will coordinate and undertake cost effective repair solutions delivering value for money. You will proactively organise workload to ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective service at all times.
You will liaise with clients, customers and colleagues regarding access, safe working practices and assessment of repairs requirements and progress of repairs. You will complete jobs on PDA's and maintain other records as required including access details, materials used, job progression and follow on information. You will undertake work activities in line with health and safety requirements demonstrating a sound working knowledge of key legislative health and safety and working practices.
In order to be successful you will have a sound knowledge of building construction, components, building trades and applicable building regulations. You will have experience of working in a customer focussed service and a proven ability to deliver quality repairs service. You should have a sound knowledge of health and safety regulations. You should have City and Guilds Craft Certificate within a trade discipline or equivalent and appropriate CSCS card.

We complete day to day repairs to customers’ homes and also empty properties to bring them up to the required Onward standard. We also service and repair gas boilers throughout the Lancashire region.
