Job Description

Stevenage Borough Council are looking for full-time Grounds Maintenance Operative Assistants to join our hard-working teams keeping the town a green and pleasant environment to live.

Dedicated, flexible and with a can-do attitude you will work as part of a team keeping Stevenage’s residential areas, parks and open spaces maintained to a high horticultural standard.

The prime purpose of the post is to carry out duties include grass cutting, shrub and hedge pruning, sport pitch maintenance, seasonal bedding and various other grounds maintenance tasks.

Candidate Requirements

Grounds Maintainenace/Horticultural experience and the possession of a current, full, clean driving license is desirable but not essential.

  • Pay: £18,795 - £19,554 Annually
