Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference to people’s lives?

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Safety team for a No More Service Support Worker.

You will be working with cases involving drugs, alcohol and offending, to help individuals with complex needs. You will be working with partnerships agencies to support individuals and improve quality of life to residents and their family.

You will also need to have knowledge around the local partners known to the No More Service to enhance the wellbeing needs of individual residents and service users ensuring these needs are met by obtaining help from appropriate agencies, to enable residents, occupants and service users to maintain independent living.

To be successful in this role you will have been educated to a good standard including HND/HNC Housing, Social work, Addiction or ASB qualification or equivalent practical knowledge and experience of working previously in an area providing support and guidance

You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, deal calmly and confidently with emotional situations and have the ability to understand the needs and perceptions of residents.

A full UK driving licence (with access to own vehicle) is essential.
