Job Description

The Sovini Group are seeking a Head of IT Operations to ensure that The Sovini Group and member companies have robust, safe and secure systems infrastructure and effective disaster recovery procedures, delivered to high standards and cost-effectively. This includes any services which may be sold to clients / customers. The Role of the Head of IT Operations is to provide leadership, structure, process and objective performance management to the IT Infrastructure and Operations teams.

It is an essential part of the role to have responsibility for the provision of a stable, secure and effective data centre and infrastructure supported by an appropriate Disaster Recovery provision.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will have managed a successful delivery of complex IT projects along with recruitment and development of IT staff. You must have experience of working with stakeholder to develop an IT strategy aligned with corporate aims and objectives and of managed a budget of GBP 2M +.

The Head of IT will have been Involved in all stages of the systems development life cycle i.e. Systems Analysis & Design, Systems Specifications, Software Development, Infrastructure Planning, Performance, Testing and Implementation stages.
