Grounds Maintenance Operatives (Fixed Term Contract)

We are looking to appoint two motivated individuals with significant, proven professional gardening experience to join our Grounds & Estates Maintenance Services (GEMS) team.
These posts are fixed term contracts until February 2021.
Reporting to the GEMS senior supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of all shrub beds, grassed areas, trees and other outdoor areas across our housing stock in Essex.
You will be provided with a company vehicle to enable you to travel between sites.
You will work as part of the GEMS team and in addition to your main you will role provide additional support in various areas on the estate, including the caretaking and cleaning teams, where required.
We’re looking for people with good communication skills, a flexible approach and strong knowledge / skills in relation to gardening. The successful candidates will be proactive, with the ability to work as part of a team and carry out strenuous physical tasks on a daily basis.
A full clean driving licence is also required for this post.
