Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for an Income Management Assistant to join us on a fixed term basis until December 2019.

Income Management Assistants deliver a professional and customer focused income recovery service in the Income Management team; providing targeted rent recovery services on a specific caseload, to prevent the commencement of legal proceedings. The post holder will proactively make outbound contacts and will ensure that payment agreements are reached and then monitored to mitigate the level debt increasing, and ensure payments of Universal Credit housing costs.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will ensure that they fully understand individuals financial circumstances and will agree affordable payment plans, where necessary, making referrals to the Money Advice team. You will take payments and optimize the use of discretionary housing payments for those who are eligible, in addition to supporting the Income Management Officers and working in a performance focused team to meet rent recovery targets.
