Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented finance professional to join our team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance and leading a team of 3, the successful applicant will be a part of the finance leadership team and will have the autonomy to improve procedures as required to deliver a high-quality service. With responsibility for treasury management and cashflow forecasting, statutory reporting, group tax compliance, external and internal audits, project appraisals, assets and liabilities register, business planning and forecasting and payroll.

There is an opportunity to work closely with senior colleagues in other departments to help drive continuous improvements and to be involved in projects supporting strategic decisions within the Association.

 

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should hold a professional finance qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA. The applicant must have previous experience of year end statutory reporting, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, tax compliance and asset management. In addition, it would be preferable if the individual has previous experience of managing a team. The applicant must have an advanced understanding of financial management and financial accounting principles and the ability to take initiative to play a key role in strategic projects and improvements across the Association.

This exciting opportunity requires a dynamic individual; able to manage others effectively and maintain strong working relationships both internal and external to the department.

  • Pay: £49,787 per annum (dependent upon experience) Annually
