About the service:

We currently have an excellent new permanent opportunity for a Deputy Manager at Warren Chase and Sandown Road.

You’ll be joining the multi-skilled staff teams at Warren Chase and Sandown Road, two lovely supported living services based in Thundersley for adults with learning disabilities. The services have a great track record for providing excellent support to the people who live there, and currently hold a ‘Good’ CQC rating.

About the role:

As Deputy Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Service Manager to supervise, lead and develop a busy staff team of Support Assistants, also assisting with all aspects of daily management including budget monitoring, business planning and performance management. In addition, the Deputy Manager will be responsible for the full running of the service in the absence of the Service Manager.

Candidate Requirements

You’ll lead by example in proactively promoting a positive, caring atmosphere within the service, ensuring that care quality standards are upheld and driving continuous improvement to ensure the best possible service is provided to the people who live at Warren Chase and Sandown Road. The role will also involve overseeing the support given to our service users in their varied daily and social activities.
