Job Description

As a member of the Community Safety Team you will deliver effective and customer focused enforcement and prevention activity to support the reduction of ASB and crime in our neighbourhoods. You will investigate and respond to reports and concerns from members of the community establishing the priority for legal action and constructing a detailed evidential base to facilitate such action. You will attend court and provide evidence as a professional witness and therefore be experienced in producing accurate witness statements which support the evidence required for civil court proceedings. Building effective relationships with colleagues, customers and key external partners, you will assist in the delivery of new initiatives to combat anti-social behaviour and enhance community cohesion.

Please note this role is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will have a good standard of secondary education (including grade C English and Maths GCSE) and hold a CIH Level 3 in Housing Practice. You will have a high level of written and verbal skills in addition to being able to understand complex analytical information with the ability to translate this into reports. You will have proven experience in the preparation of cases for legal action through to court attendance and advocacy.
