The Sovini Group is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Team in the provision of Statutory, Financial and Management accounting functions including budget preparation, statutory account production, reporting and monitoring of the Group's Accounts. To assist in the continuous improvement of all financial processes as driven by the Head of Finance – Financial Management and through the personal review of existing processes.
As the Finance Assistant you require the ability to interrogate, extract and analyse data from a Financial Management System and produce timely, accurate and meaningful financial, management and statistical information. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to problem solving and delivering financial solutions and will have well-developed listening, communication and questioning techniques, supported by strong analytical skills and organisational abilities.
The successful candidate will have good organisation and communication skills & the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will also have ability to use efficiently Microsoft Windows software and a recognised financial management or database system & have the ability to plan and prioritise effectively in order to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
