    Details

The Equality and Diversity Network is pleased to announce the next round of best practice groups. These regional events provide attendees with the chance to network and share best practice while discussing a topical issue.

As requested at the last meeting, we will be looking at how, as equality and diversity practitioners, we can influence our colleagues and others to improve diversity practice and to try and change learned (and sometimes ingrained) behaviour. We will consider the idea of being ‘change agents’, that is people who influence and bring about change without holding hierarchical power.

The group will be facilitated by our Equality and Diversity Lead Associate Colin Heyman. He’ll be bringing some ideas, rather than answers, and looks forward to hearing what has worked for you too.

There will also be time to look at what is going well in your organisation, any challenges you are facing and how you might tackle them.

    Lunch will be provided.
