    Fire Safety Assistant
    Full Time (35 hours per week), Permanent
    Location: Chester
    Salary: £22,644.88 per annum

    Role Description:
    • Provide full and effective administrative support for Muir Group Fire Safety Management programme and team (Compliance, Fire Safety, Property Services and Communities and Customer Service) ensuring that the Group is fulfilling all Statutory and Regulatory fire risk obligations across the whole stock.
    • Take responsibility to provide a consistent and timely approach to co-ordinating, recording any monitoring progress with any Fire Risk Assessment actions, in line with Muir Group’s policy and procedures.
    • Co-ordinate any actions that are identified during the weekly fire safety inspections on all schemes and take responsibility for distributing and monitoring progress of actions.
    • Support and assist the Senior Fire Officer to develop a plan or works for ensuring completion of Fire Risk Assessment actions in line with timescales.
    • Act as the main point of contact for the main internal and external stakeholders, providing a positive and professional service throughout.
    • Provide administrative support for the Fire Safety Planned Programme of Works.
    • Attend contractor review meetings, provide programme feedback, record minutes and agreed actions.
    • Deliver a customer focused service to all residents ensuring the customer journey and experience is positive and all queries responded to within a timely manner.
    What are we looking for?
    • Good standard of general education to at least GCSE, Level 2 NVQ or equivalent
    • Experience of working in an administrative role
    • Experience of using a range of ICT systems
    • Experience of using multiple databases, excel spreadsheets and analysing large quantities of data.

    Experience of working within the social housing sector and experience in a compliance/data monitoring and reporting would be desirable but this is not essential.
