The Residents’ Network is pleased to announce its latest series of best practice groups, giving attendees the opportunity to network and share best practice with fellow members.
As always, the session will be facilitated by Elaine Warwick and Siân Humphreys, and take place via zoom. Members can book on to either the Resident session or the Housing provider session, and then can book onto the joint session as well.
This best practice group will also be a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is new to the network, or has not attended a best practice group before.
Why come to the best practice group?
- Great to find out what others are doing
- Good honest and open discussions
- Sharing best practice and ideas with others in similar roles
- Acts as a sense-check about what people are doing or thinking of doing.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Siân Humphreys has worked in the social housing sector for over 20 years working to ensure that residents are genuinely heard when it comes to shaping services and giving their views. While Siân has worked in tenancy management it has been in repairs and maintenance that she has been able to combine her passion for improving services by working with colleagues and customers to make things easier and better for all concerned.
Elaine Warwick has worked in resident engagement for over 20 years and still feels as passionate about it as she did then. Her experience in the role at bpha helps her see both sides when meeting with residents and with staff to discuss housing issues at the Residents Network. She also works alongside Jan from Clarion as part of the national Tackling Stigma in Social Housing group. This campaign supports housing providers to run their in-house projects. She lives in Bedfordshire, and has four grown up children and three grandchildren.
