The road to leasehold, and beyond…

The government is encouraging tenants to take the step to becoming homeowners. Initiatives such as right to buy and shared ownership stimulate interest.

For the leasehold management teams this is the start of a process that presents many challenges along the way.

This seminar looks at the ‘journey’ from tenant to homeowner. And onwards towards becoming an established leaseholder. All from the landlord’s perspective. The issues to deal with, the problems to resolve, and the challenges to overcome.

We’ll cover the key stages of the journey:

Tenant to leaseholder – managing expectations: tenants and leaseholders are different, so prospective leaseholders need managing carefully. We look at the process and help to ensure you get it right.

Sales, marketing and conversion: increasing your leaseholder numbers is all about getting your marketing and sales processes right. This session looks at what’s done well, what isn’t, and how to get those conversions.

Delivering services, charges and costs: tenants and leaseholders are different tenures with different needs.

Managing feedback: when leaseholders find their voices and let you know what they think of your services, how do you deal with this? Hear from a service improvement specialist on how to deal with feedback positively to help improve services.

In-depth sessions, with guidance, discussion and debate and examples.
