For the opening workshop of our Strategic Housing Month, we will examine the prospects for housing, local authorities and the wider UK economy. Rishi’s glossy video and associated Budget point to a rosy future and a roadmap out of the Covid crisis, but how do we tackle some of the entrenched issues that existed in pre-pandemic times and have only got worse?

Focusing on the macro and the micro, this session will explore how the impact of Covid (and Brexit) will affect the daily lives of the UK population in the years to come, covering everything from housing affordability and investment in public service to the future of work and prospects for future generations.

Otherwise, a cancellation fee of £60 plus VAT will be chargeable.
