We are a value-orientated Housing Association working together to create communities where people want to live. We manage circa 5,500 homes over a wide geographical area and our residents include families, older people and those in need of special care and support.
We are seeking a highly analytical Finance Manager for a position which plays an important role in providing financial expertise across the Association. The successful candidate will be part of the finance leadership team.
You need to be able to lead and motivate a team of 5 to deliver an efficient and high-quality service covering rents, service charges and property resales. The main responsibilities will include; budget monitoring, forecast updates and reporting for rent and service charges; accurate processing of rent and service charge transactions; co-ordination of annual service charge recharges ensuring income is maximised; overseeing the property resales function. You will be expected to participate in the preparation of Financial Accounts and Business Plans.
Working closely with colleagues in the Housing, Development and Maintenance teams you will have the opportunity to provide advice and the autonomy to proactively drive continuous improvements across the whole organisation.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in rent and service charge accounting, however this is not essential for the right individual.
This exciting opportunity requires a dynamic individual, able to manage others effectively and with the excellent communication skills required to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
