Digital Transformation Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a large-scale digital transformation programme for Stevenage Borough Council, to ensure successful delivery of the Council’s ambitious corporate plan; particularly impacting on the Council’s customer services offer to the people of Stevenage.
This new role will deliver the vision, and oversee the implementation of improvements to optimise and modernise customer services, maximising digital access for all of our customers, making it simpler, faster and easier for them to access the Council’s full range of services, setting a clear concept of what a ‘best in class’ customer service journey and experience looks like, and delivering effective and efficient services.
The role will additionally provide the ‘expert voice’ for a more digitally enabled culture across the Council and successfully champion and support Assistant Directors and Service Managers to achieve business transformation, efficiencies and improvements.
We’re looking for an experienced digital transformation leader, who will challenge the status quo; eroding fixed silo-based processes and systems, and who can inspire others to deliver the Council’s ambitions and engage and enthuse stakeholders from a range of backgrounds and service areas.

- Hours: 37 per week
- Pay: £50,125 Annually
Assessments will be held on the week commencing 19 February 2018.
