We are looking for an Administration Assistant who can provide a high level of customer service within our busy environmental services team providing support to other colleagues within the service i.e. Refuse, Recycling, Street scene and Enforcement Officers.

The successful candidate will have the ability to deal with enquiries and complaints either by telephone, face to face, or in writing, with both our internal and external customers ensuring that their requirements are registered and processed in a timely manner.

The post holder will be a competent user of Microsoft packages including word and excel, have good literacy and numeracy skills and have an ability to manage daily workload effectively. You will be able to contribute to the development and introduction of new technology and oversee maintenance of the team’s existing equipment and databases. You will also have the ability to gather and collate information for key management reports and provide assistance to other administrative team members as directed by the Office Manager.
