HQN is delighted to announce that a former CFO of Asda and Amazon UK has joined its group of business transformation experts delivering consultancy support to housing organisations.
Rob McWilliam joins a new team of associates led by Samantha Young, former Director of Business Transformation at New Charter Group, which is dedicated to helping the social housing sector deliver successful digital change programmes.
Their services are available to any social housing provider that is just getting started on its business transformation journey or needs guidance to make sure it is heading in the right direction.
The new consultancy offer, entitled Keys to success, will be officially launched at a series of free workshops in April and May but the team is currently looking for partner organisations to test out the approach.
About the team
Rob McWilliam has spent over 25 years in some of the most customer-centric businesses in the world. Having served as UK Finance Director at ASDA/Wal-Mart and Amazon UK, he was most recently Vice President for Amazon’s Consumer Goods portfolio. Rob is now pursuing a cross-sector portfolio career including non-executive and digital advisory roles and is keen to pass on his private sector business expertise to the housing sector.
Sam Young, meanwhile, is passionate about developing talent, transforming teams and delivering successful business outcomes that make a real difference. She has a wealth of technology experience gained in the private, public and charitable sectors and a track record in successfully leading large teams and large-scale changes. Sam is an accredited coach and SFIA (Skills for the Information Age) consultant.
Joining Sam and Rob will be Mike Victory-Rowe, a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience of working in property and asset management in the housing sector. He works with clients and partners to deliver innovative asset management and business transformation solutions to the sector. Most recently, Mike was Assistant Director of Asset Management at Knightstone.
