An update from the HQN Business Transformation Group

Thank you to all the members who managed to journey through the weather to make it to our Business Transformation Group Workshop at Halton Housing earlier this week. We hope you found the day to be interesting and informative.

In addition to a tour of Halton Housing's remarkable new HQ (which included a game of ping-pong and a ride on Moo the cow), attendees engaged in an informative session discussing the business case for digital engagement, the impact of Universal Credit, why housing officers are an endangered species and Nick Atkin's love of '80s music, especially Adam and the Ants and Blondie.

The full set of slides from the day can be downloaded here.

Further Business Transformation Group workshops will be announced in due course. If any members are potentially interested in hosting an event, please contact

The big business transformation event coming soon will be our 'taking flight 2' conference. After the success of our inaugural business transformation conference last year at the British Airways i360 in Brighton, this event will take place at Alton Towers resort in Staffordshire. Confirmed speakers include Rob McWilliam, former UK Finance Director for ASDA and Amazon, Paul Taylor, Innovation Coach at Bromford Housing Group and Sam Young, HQN's lead associate on business transformation.
