GDPR Data Protection Officer (DPO) support service

Does your organisation need a Data Protection Officer?

GDPR Data Protection Officer (DPO) support service

Under the GDPR, a DPO must be appointed where an organisation is:

1. processing large amounts of sensitive personal data

2. regularly monitoring individuals

3. required to by Member State law.

Even though you may not be required to appoint a DPO under the forthcoming legislation, given the strategic, financial and reputational importance of a ‘compliant’ approach to the management of personal data in your organisation, it is likely that you will decide to ‘appoint’ one nevertheless.

Whether you choose to make a full time appointment or task a current employee to take on the role on a part-time basis, HQN can provide ongoing support and training to in-house DPOs in their challenging roles.

We can act as a DPO “Buddy”. We can also act as an interim DPO when an in-house DPO is on leave or if there is a short-term vacancy.

We can help with a one-off or specific project: for example, conducting a Privacy Impact Assessment for a new product/ service, or assisting with a response to a Data Subject Access Request. Alternatively, we offer a fully outsourced Data Protection Officer Service on a retainer basis.

Ensure your organisation complies with the GDPR and avoids reputational damage and fines – contact us today. We have a track record of helping organisations achieve real and lasting performance improvements.

Please call David Ganz, Executive Director, to discuss your specific needs on 07921 308823 or email david.ganz@hqnetwork.co.uk
