Resilience Clinic 2018: risk management, business continuity and bow ties
- Type HQN Event
- Venue Manchester
- Start 14 Jun 2018 10:00
- End 14 Jun 2018 16:00
As social housing providers become increasingly complex and commercial entities, how do you ensure you are prepared for every eventuality?
The role of risk management and business continuity go hand-in-hand and have arguably never been more important.
Dangers lurk around every corner. From winter working to the roll out of Universal Credit - plans need to be in place and well communicated so everyone involved with the organisation understands they have a role to play.
For our 2018 Resilience Clinics, HQN is teaming up with specialist risk management company Commercial Initiatives to deliver practical advice on how to deliver a better programme for your staff, residents and other stakeholders.
The day will focus on the new Business Continuity Good Practice Guidelines for 2018 and how organisations can benefit from adopting the 'bow tie' approach to risk management.
The fully interactive event will also give delegates the opportunity to participate in a mini exercise highlighting how a major incident impacts the whole organisation and why contingency planning is so important.
Sessions will focus on:
- The benefits of the 2018 Business Continuity Good Practice Guidelines
- The 'bow tie' approach to risk management
- Business impact analysis
- Up-to-date and useable plan writing
- What if? Business continuity exercises for your incident team including office, staff, IT and stock scenarios.
